The firm created new connections and helped energise the show floor in London

BoldMove Nation, the new vendor-independent service for the entertainment market, is celebrating a successful return to the amusement industry’s premier trade event in Europe.

Utilising innovative ride technology from partner Triotech, BoldMove Nation showcased a range of products at IAAPA Expo Europe, including Smash & Reload, which incorporates dark ride elements to create a fun family experience, with an attractive price-quality ratio.

 “We were so pleased to talk with customers directly on the show, explaining to them that Smash & Reload is so much more than a compact shooting dark ride,” says CEO Benoit Cornet. “We designed this as an attraction that can stand on its own in a theme park, like the one we now build in France, or that can be integrated into an FEC.

“On a small footprint, we generate lots of energy and theming, offering a vibrant gameplay and dynamic vehicle motions across five scenes up to the finale with high scoring.”

BoldMove presented three different IPs, at the show, including the proprietary TooMush in co-creation with Polymorph, as well as The Daltons and Marsupilami from Mediatoon Licensing.

Creating immersive adventures

BoldMove’s AR Dino Portal was also demonstrated at the booth by product manager Sven Popelier. Created with ActiveMe, the experience allows visitors to discover 360-degree virtual underwater and jungle environments, populated with intriguing prehistoric creatures.

The portal forms part of AR Hybrid Quest, a ‘phygital’ adventure trail that can be played on guests’ smartphones. Visitors can explore a range of AR mini-games and missions as part of a quest which can take place across entire parks.

BoldMove Nation also offers custom dark rides with bespoke content and experience design services utilising smart technologies to create immersive family experiences.

Earlier this year BoldMove Nation confirmed a version of Smash & Reload would be making its way to Le Pal, France.
