Attendees at the trade show had the opportunity to try the company’s Ghepard Maranello GT and Phoenix Pro F1 simulators

Wave Italy, a provider of immersive racing simulators, has announced that it had a successful visit to IAAPA Expo 2022 in Orlando, where the team exhibited alongside sister company Fotosmile, a family-run photo and video solutions company from Italy.

The firm, which is active in the esports sector, is the only company in the world to cover all sectors of sim racing panorama, offering peripherals and Formula and GT car simulators. Clients can rent or buy Wave Italy products for use in a wide range of venues, such as museums, hotels, cruise ships, autodromes and more. The company, which designs, produces and manufactures its simulators in-house, also trains real pilots at its Professional Training Center in Verona.

A unique driving experience

At last week’s IAAPA Expo, where the team was exhibiting after a three-year hiatus, Wave Italy showcased its Ghepard Maranello GT simulator and Phoenix Pro F1 simulator and enjoyed the chance to talk about the products to professionals from across the entertainment sector. Attendees could also try the simulators for themselves at the booth.

Both professional simulators are enriched with motion. The Ghepard Maranello offers a GT experience and the Phoenix Pro immerses visitors in a true F1 race. The design of the Ghepard Maranello communicates the idea of fast movement while keeping an elegant and sophisticated look, and the Phoenix Pro is built ad hoc to resemble an F1 single-seater. The shell, the seat, the seatbelts, and the halo are all studied and put together to recreate an F1 car and the sensations that drivers feel during a real race.

Both simulators are highly customisable so that operators can offer an exclusive and unique experience to their visitors. They are 100% made in Italy, in Wave Italy’s Maranello technical and R&D headquarters, by its highly trained engineers.

Alex Martinelli, CEO of Wave Italy says:

“IAAPA Expo in Orlando has been as always, an unforgettable experience. We are very happy to have had the chance to be part of all this once again. Thank you to everyone who has stopped by and thank you IAAPA for the great show! See you next year!”

Fotosmile and Wave Italy presented their new products at booths #3641 and #3541 respectively during IAAPA Expo Europe 2022.
