Merlin Entertainments and Ferrari are partnering to create immersive ‘Build and Race’ experiences for Legoland theme parks across the globe.
Legoland California is already home to the Ferrari-themed Build and Race experience, which is now set to launch at Legoland Billund and Legoland Windsor.
The interactive attraction uses cutting-edge racing technology, with guests able to build, test and race their own Lego Ferrari.
“Renowned for its innovation, performance and quality, Ferrari aligns perfectly with our ambitions of partnering with the world’s most exciting and innovative brands,” said Merlin‘s CEO Scott O’Neil.

“Our partnership with Ferrari accelerates our IP partnerships at our iconic Legoland theme parks. This is exactly the type of premier new experience that will have our guests revving their engines to visit in 2023.”
Visitors will get to build their own Lego Ferrari to race and compete at one of three racetracks, each offering different obstacles and challenges.
They will then be able to create a custom digital Ferrari, which is digitally projected onto a Lego racetrack based on Pista di Fiorano for a virtual race.
“As a leading attractions operator, Merlin Entertainments are a key strategic partner for Ferrari, who are working with us to expand our offering to engage with Ferrari fans of all ages,” said Annabel Rochfort, director of LBE, museums and esports at Ferrari.

“Due to the success of our first Lego Ferrari Build & Race attraction at Legoland California, we are delighted to be expanding the concept into both Legoland Billund and Legoland Windsor.”
Elsewhere, Yas Island’s Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has opened a new coaster called Mission Ferrari, described as the world’s most immersive ‘mega coaster’.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the first-ever Ferrari-branded indoor theme park, features rides and attractions including the world’s fastest roller coaster, Formula Rossa.
