From November 14–17, visitors attending IAAPA Expo 2023 in Orlando, Florida, will be among the first to see a glimpse of Mattel Adventure Park‘s newest attractions, the Barbie Beach House and the Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer Roller Coaster. The Barbie Beach House, which is now under construction, will be revealed in brand-new pictures at the Chance Rides booth (#2606) together with a real-life coaster vehicle from the Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer.
The new Mattel Adventure Park will open in Arizona in 2024. It will feature two Hot Wheels coasters – Hot Wheels Bone Shaker: The Ultimate Ride and Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer – as well as a life-size Barbie Beach House and more.
Twin Mill Racer
“We are elated to debut the Twin Mill Racer coaster and introduce some of the other Mattel-branded attractions underway at Glendale’s VAI Resort at the IAAPA Expo,” says Mark Cornell, president of Epic Resort Destinations.

The Twin Mill Racer, which will take Hot Wheels fans on a thrilling 65-second trip over a 2,503-foot track, is just one of many attractions already under development at Arizona’s most anticipated indoor/outdoor theme park. The coaster accelerates from zero to fifty miles per hour in less than three seconds, then launches riders outside for two vertical loops, the highest of which is 116 feet, and a series of hairpin and corkscrew turns before returning to the building.
“We are taking thrills to new heights with the Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer,” says Cindy Emerick, attractions development engineer at Epic Resort Destinations. “The Twin Mill Racer track layout features a wicked corkscrew threaded through two vertical loops that authenticates the Hot Wheels experience. We are excited to bring this iconic racing playset to life in a heart-pounding and exhilarating thrill ride.”
Barbie Dream House
Another key attraction at the new park is the Barbie Beach House, which is currently under construction. This features an inventive flying theatre, a Barbie Dream Closet experience that uses holographic technology to bring Barbie to life, and a Barbie Beach Rooftop that’s ideal for relaxing with a signature beverage.
