d’strict, a digital media content and technology design company, has collaborated with Art Basel Miami Beach, which took place earlier this month.
The firm was featured in the Collectors Lounge at the prestigious art show, where it presented its celebrated new media installation works.

International collaborations
Highlights from d’strict’s collection of new media works were shown on a RigFlex screen supplied by Barco, a leading specialist in digital projection and imaging technology based in Belgium. As a result of this collaboration, the presentation featured cutting-edge immersive images.
The showcase featured content from d’strict’s internationally acclaimed digital public installations, including WAVE, Whale #2, WHALE, CITY, and SOFT BODY. This was accompanied by works by a’strict, the company’s creative initiative, and content from LED.ART, a media art licensing service. Highlights from d’strict’s global ARTE MUSEUM exhibition spaces serve as the centrepiece of the show.
In addition to presenting its new media works, the firm also showcased its diverse business models and services at the Miami Beach event.
The company is renowned for its spectacular digital installations, such as WAVE (K-POP Square, Seoul, 2020), Whale #2 and Waterfall-NYC (both Times Square, New York, 2021). With gold awards from the iF Design Awards for two years in a row, d’strict has gained recognition for its design skills on a global scale.
d’strict’s in-house experts specialise in planning, visual/space/system design, software development, and operations. Together, they have contributed to a tradition of design excellence, with a focus on media art shows. One of their most well-known works is ARTE MUSEUM, an immersive digital art installation. Its inaugural location in the Western Hemisphere, ARTE MUSEUM LAS VEGAS, launched last month.

Art Basel Miami Beach took place from 8 to 10 December 2023 at the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) and presented work from 277 galleries from across the globe.
d’strict was recently a Platinum Sponsor for the 2023 The Sapphire Dinner in Australia. This is an annual charity gala which raises funds and awareness for marine conservation organisations. The firm granted complimentary licensing for four artworks, including WAVE, in support of the cause. It also presented its works at the event on an enormous 50-metre by 6-metre screen.
