The global epicentre for audiovisual (AV) technology and integrated systems, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025, will take place at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain, from 4 – 7 February. This year’s event promises to set new benchmarks for innovation, creativity, and collaboration across the AV and experiential industries.

Talking about the organising team’s key goals for ISE 2025, Blackman says:

What’s new for this year?
ISE strives to stay ahead of the curve by continuously introducing new initiatives and features that reflect the latest industry advancements.
“We constantly review our offering, each year taking advice and consultation from exhibitors, partners and visitors to continuously improve,” says Blackman.
For ISE 2025, the show floor has been expanded by 20%. New features have also been added, such as the Innovation Park, designed specifically for startups with breakthrough business ideas, and the Hackathon. In this competition, students will work collaboratively to solve problems and develop innovative solutions in real time.
Also new for ISE 2025 is Hall 8.1. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Esports Arena or marvel at innovative advancements in the Robotics and Drone Arena, where technology takes centre stage. Additionally, there will be the new and exclusive Track programme. This is designed to offer specialised content, tailored to specific interests and needs.
“These initiatives provide a dynamic platform for showcasing groundbreaking technologies and fostering collaboration among industry leaders,” says Blackman.
Keynotes at ISE 2025
On Tuesday, globally acclaimed digital analyst and author Brian Solis will present the opening keynote entitled: AI is Eating the World: Why the AI Revolution is Good for Business.
Renowned for his understanding of the interplay between technology, business, and culture, Solis will present his perspective on how the professional AV and systems integration sector can evolve and innovate using the latest advancements in artificial intelligence.
Solis, head of global innovation at ServiceNow, was named a ‘Top AI Leader’ for 2024 by Rethink Retail. He has authored over 60 leading research publications and eight best-selling books on disruptive trends, corporate innovation, business transformation, and consumer behaviour. His opening keynote will be a vital opportunity for attendees to understand why business leaders should re-evaluate their organisations for a future shaped by AI.
On Wednesday, Italian digital artist Quayola will deliver the creative keynote session. Quayola’s creations exemplify the transformative impact of audiovisual (AV) technology on the creative arts.
“Quayola’s participation in ISE 2025 underscores our commitment to exploring the intersection of technology and creativity,” says Blackman. “Quayola’s creative keynote will provide fascinating insights into his groundbreaking projects, including the mesmerising ‘Arborescent’ projection mapping experience on Casa Batlló. This focus on digital/multimedia art highlights how advancements in AV technology can inspire and enhance artistic endeavours, making it a transformative experience for attendees.”
The LED Screen at the South Access will be the canvas for three evening performances. On Tuesday, Quayola will be providing a digital artwork. Then, on Wednesday, ISE welcomes back a keynote performer from ISE 2024, Jeroen van der Most. Finally, on Thursday evening, there will be a performance by Alice Labourel, who will also be taking part in the BCN LLUM light festival, which ISE is once again sponsoring.
Networking, events and more
ISE is known for its immersive exhibits and networking opportunities. Speaking about what attendees can expect this year in terms of visitor experience, Blackman says:
“Attendees can expect an unparalleled visitor experience at ISE 2025. There will be enhanced safety measures and expanded exhibition space, as well as a host of new initiatives. The event will feature seven dedicated Technology Zones set across eight halls, making it easier for attendees to find and compare solutions.
“Additionally, visitors can explore real-life projects throughout Barcelona with ISE’s impressive collection of Tech Tours.”
It’s not just about the show floor – the week of ISE 2025 presents other opportunities, too, he adds:
“Barcelona is a vibrant, exciting city with much to explore. So, we encourage all attendees to take advantage of the opportunity to explore Barcelona’s many attractions. From the stunning architecture of Casa Batlló, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to the stunning light arts experiences at Llum BCN 25, there is something for everyone.”

In-depth content at ISE 2025
Highlights for ISE 2025 include an in-depth content programme which features six key market sector conferences. These conferences will cover various topics relevant to the industry, such as the Digital Signage Summit, providing in-depth insights and discussions led by experts.
Meanwhile, the Live Events Stage will run throughout the show, drawing on expertise from all corners of the live events world. Here, attendees can gain insights from leaders in audio, lighting, video, staging special effects and pyrotechnics.
“ISE 2025 ensures value for every type of attendee by offering diverse sessions, workshops, and keynotes designed to inspire and inform,” says Blackman. “The event’s content programme, curated by AVIXA, CEDIA, and ISE, covers key industry topics and emerging megatrends.

Sustainability will be a key topic. Sessions exploring this include Bringing the Sustainable Development Goals to the AV Industry on 4 February at 4.30 pm. The panel from SAVe will address how to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In addition, another interesting session will be Greening the AV Industry: Innovations for a Sustainable Future, on 6 February at 12.20 pm.

7thSense, the multi-award-winning media solutions specialist, will bring the latest advancements in media playback, pixel control, and system integration.
At ISE 2025, the firm will spotlight the two sides of its expertise. This includes product-based systems, such as the Delta Media Server, the Juggler Mega-Canvas Controller, and Medialon Show Control. New features and capabilities for these systems will be presented at the show.
The other side is solution engineering. The team will demonstrate how 7thSense can engineer tailored solutions for ambitious AV projects. AV Stumpfl – booth #3A500
AV Stumpfl, the Austrian award-winning creator of mobile and installation projection screens, multi-display and show control systems, will present the latest addition to the Pixera ecosystem – the Pixera zero – at ISE 2025. It will also kick start its 50th anniversary year at the ISE show.
The Pixera zero media server combines powerful hardware with a space-saving design. It offers three models: PXZ-0, PXZ-2, and PXZ-4. Each features up to four 4K video outputs in a compact format of 210mm × 265mm × 89.3mm. Equipped with an Intel Xeon processor and 32GB of RAM, it delivers seamless playback of uncompressed 4K content. Its NVMe storage allows for a constant read rate of up to 5GB/s, ensuring high-speed data transfer and reliability.
Weighing only 3.72 kg, it is easy to integrate into various setups while remaining reliable under pressure. Its efficient design consumes just 300W, promoting sustainable energy usage. The Pixera zero includes a software license for the Pixera Server.
The AV Stumpfl stand will also host a unique projection mapping demonstration showcasing the company’s interchangeable screen materials, featuring a custom-designed AnyShape projection screen with a Contrast PRO surface. AV Stumpfl’s AnyShape technology produces mobile projection screens in unique shapes, freeing designers and AV professionals from traditional rectangular constraints and expanding projection possibilities.
In addition, the company will showcase new features for its Pixera software. This includes the Pixera RenderBridge, Notch LC encoding support, improved window management, integration with the Astra Color Tool Kit for colour correction, and compliance with the SMPTE ST 2110 standard for media over IP.
Barco – booth #2M100
Barco, the technology company focusing on innovative visualisation solutions, will showcase its IP solutions on its IP wall with Encore3. For the mapping, the company will be using 2 QDXs, and for the immersive room, it will be a combination of I600s and G62s
The firm invites ISE 2025 attendees to step into the circle of inspiration. Here, they can immerse themselves in Barco’s visualisation and image-processing solutions and witness how visuals, projection quality, and seamless integration combine to captivate and ignite the imagination.

Barco’s Thomas Serbruyns, VP of strategic initiatives and sustainability, will also speak in a session called Ask the Experts: Sustainable AV: How Sustainability Triples your Tech Bottom Line. This takes place on 4 February at 12.15 at the Xchange LIVE booth.
Recently, Barco supplied approximately 150 projectors for Le Space Inspire, an immersive exhibition space in Incheon, South Korea. Le Space Inspire is one of the most innovative attractions destinations in the country, spanning over 6,600 square meters. Technology, light, sound and sensory stimulation are combined to create an otherworldly experience across four distinctive zones.
Beckhoff Automation – booth #5H350
Beckhoff Automation, an innovator in PC-based control technology and automation software for the entertainment and leisure industries, will demonstrate how to use open automation solutions to create the ultimate visitor experience, integrating all technical systems – from audio and video systems to lighting and stage technology – on a single platform complete with secure automation.
The family-owned company realises open automation systems based on PC-based control technology and the fieldbus technology EtherCAT. The products and technologies are used in various industries and applications, such as entertainment.

Last year, Beckhoff Automation collaborated with Salzgeber GmbH to upgrade the sound system at the Vienna State Opera in Austria. To provide guests with an optimal listening experience, the sound system has been upgraded with cutting-edge audio technology and a wholly refurbished audio control system.
Christie – booth #3K500
Christie, the global visual and audio technology company, and its partners will demonstrate integrated solutions at ISE 2025, with the theme “Experience is everything”.
Attendees can experience an interactive and immersive room created in partnership with Augmenta. This will be projection mapped by Christie 1DLP laser projectors and driven by a Pandoras Box media server and AirScan.
Also on show will be the new Christie Jazz Series 1DLP laser projectors used in combination with Widget Designer in a striking museum-inspired display. Content and immersive programming is by Faber Creative Services. LED video walls, including Core Series III and MicroTiles LED, will also be prominently featured.
Christie also recently announced that Lockheed Martin has chosen MicroTiles LED as a key part of its Amorphic Appearance Zero-Projector Environment (AMAZE) visual display system for the F-35 Lightning II programme.
Digital Projection – booth #3K700
Digital Projection, a specialist in laser projectors, will present a new range of projectors designed for the experience economy. Bringing unmatched colour performance and reliability to the market, this range is created specifically for high-use, high-profile and mission-critical attractions and installations.
The new one-chip projectors feature Texas Instruments’ breakthrough High-Efficiency-Pixel (HEP) DMD for unprecedented colour accuracy and native contrast. They also include the Nexus electronics platform, which provides unsurpassed precision and control over projector installations. Digital Projection will also highlight the E-Vision 16000i-WU and E-Vision RGB 4K+ as part of its new We Love Colour campaign.

Digital Projection recently revealed that its M-Vision projectors were chosen by CS Prod, a French projection mapping expert, for its project celebrating the history of King Louis XIII.
Hive – booth #5E880
Hive, a company specialising in media control systems and software, will launch the Beeblade Nexus, at ISE 2025. It will also reveal version 1.2 of its user-friendly software, present the Nucleus chassis to European audiences, and showcase the Panasonic Interactive Immersive Experience.
The Beeblade Nexus offers outstanding performance in a compact and scalable SDM configuration. Powered by Hive’s Beeblade computing module, it provides excellent performance at a lower cost than traditional media servers. This makes it ideal for AV specialists looking for powerful yet user-friendly solutions.
Hive will also present its V1.2 software update. This delivers cutting-edge features, including scheduling for easier content management, warp and blend capabilities for multi-projector installations, Vioso camera-based calibration workflows, and support for 10-bit HDR.
In addition, Hive will power the “Global Teleport” experience. This is the central feature of Panasonic’s stand, #3J500, in Hall 3. Visitors can upload photographs from their phones and then view them on a curved screen in real-time, demonstrating Hive’s Beeblade media engine and low-latency integration with Unreal Engine and Notch.
Hive is supporting ROE Visual at stand #3P300. Here, an LED screen playback and pixel mapping solutions using 10-BitHDR will further illustrate the company’s adaptability in dynamic visual applications.

L-Acoustics – booth #7G150

Listen Technologies – booth #3R400
Listen Technologies, a provider of assistive listening, multi-language audio transmission and live-streaming audio solutions, will showcase several assistive listening solutions in partnership with Ampetronic. The companies’ solutions support the unique needs of venues and end users, helping people hear clearly in challenging listening environments.
Listen Technologies’ and Ampetronic’s combined product suite includes Auri, the first complete Auracast broadcast audio-based assistive listening solution. Listen Technologies and Ampetronic co-developed Auri to let venues and end users adopt Auracast broadcast audio technology for assistive listening in public spaces.
Joining Listen Technologies and Ampetronic in the booth will be the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). Bluetooth SIG will highlight consumer devices, such as hearing aids and earbuds, featuring built-in Auracast broadcast audio technology. ISE attendees can visit the booth to experience how Auracast broadcast audio will enhance how they engage with others and the world around them.
Listen Technologies will also display ListenWIFI. This is its next-generation audio over Wi-Fi-based assistive listening solution, ideal for multi-channel, multi-room, and multi-screen environments. Modulo Pi – booth #5J300
Modulo Pi, a provider of media server solutions with a user-friendly design, will also be exhibiting at ISE 2025, where it will present its latest media server technologies.
It will showcase an interactive LED experience featuring two walls and a floor. This will be fully interactive thanks to the new Modulo Kinetic Version 6, as well as the integration of 2D and 3D LiDARs. The media server enhances interactivity with advanced features for dynamic, immersive environments. Seamless LiDAR calibration enables precision and real-time tracking of multiple users.
Modulo Kinetic’s effects library and node-based compositing tool offer more movement and gesture interactions without coding. Attendees can explore immersive worlds through various demos of the interactive LED setup. Visitors will interact in real time by touching walls or walking on the LED floor. This will then trigger videos, images, sounds, and more.
Version 6 of Modulo Kinetic offers significant enhancements. The user-friendly interface provides a smoother experience. Additionally, the upgraded 3D engine boosts performance for real-time productions, and photorealistic rendering has improved through advanced lighting and textures.
Modulo Pi introduces its 3D auto-calibration module, following the success of its 2D option for various surfaces. This innovative module automates multi-projector soft-edge blending and geometry adjustments, enabling automatic projector alignment for video mapping on buildings and in immersive venues.
The solution uses PoE cameras for efficient, simplified cabling. It detects projector position and orientation relative to the projection surface by projecting patterns. The software processes this data to make necessary adjustments. The dongle-based auto-calibration module for the Modulo Kinetic media server ensures precise mappings quickly.

Panasonic Connect – booth #3J500
Panasonic Connect, a leading audiovisual technology provider, invites visitors to experience the future of visual, broadcast and proAV technology. Attendees can learn how its solutions elevate entertainment, collaboration, and education. They can also hear about the groundbreaking strategic capital partnership between Panasonic Visual and ORIX.
The team at the booth will present Panasonic’s latest roadmap, including expanded investments in AV technologies, seamless software integration for lifecycle management, and a commitment to interoperability through expanded industry partnerships.
In the Panasonic entertainment area, participants can experience an immersive spectacle, alongside partners HIVE and Projektil. This features an all-in-one LED display, featuring market-first Intel SDM technology that provides seamless AVoIP connectivity and collaboration for customers. Panasonic Connect recently announced the release of new integrated software for its media processors – the ET-FMP50 Series. The company also provided cutting-edge DLP laser projection technology for an innovative installation at the Ephesus Experience Museum in Selçuk, Turkey.
TAIT
TAIT, a global leader in the live experience industry, will also have a presence at ISE 2025.
Firstly, on 4 February at 4.15 pm on the Live Events Stage, Ben Brooks, managing director, UK, will speak in What Makes a Venue? With Chris Neary, senior technical manager for live entertainment for the Scottish Event Campus and OVO Hydro, and Paul English, production manager for Adele, he will explore what artists, promoters and audience members expect from a modern music venue.
Then, on 5 February at 10.30 am on the Live Events Stage, Dave Weatherhead, president of technology at TAIT, will speak during Moving the Dial. This session will be a deep dive into how automation continues to adapt and change in show design. He’ll also be joined by Koen Peeters, key account project manager at WiCreations and Mike Birch, technical director at Newsubstance Studio.

Finally, on 6 February at 2 pm on the Live Events Stage, Toby Van Hay, VP and head of EMEA business development at TAIT, will lead a session called Building your World.
