Valo Motion, a pioneer in combining interactive technology with physical activities, has announced that it will debut the new ValoArena 4-player at IAAPA Expo Europe 2025.
The expo, which is the biggest international trade show and conference for the attractions industry in the EMEA, is taking place in Barcelona from 22 to 26 September. The trade show floor is open from 23 to 25 September.
Valo Motion will be exhibiting at booths #2-683 and #2-983, where attendees will be able to try the new ValoArena product as well as the ValoJump and ValoClimb.
Compact footprint
With the launch of the ValoArena 4-player, Valo Motion extends the ValoArena product line with a new standard size that has been developed for modern venues.
It is now even easier for operators to deploy the acclaimed ValoArena mixed reality experience. This includes popular games like the viral hit Groundfall, a mixed reality version of ‘the floor is lava’, and Party Box, a library of mini games that families can enjoy together.
As the ValoArena 4-player can be used in a wider range of indoor entertainment venues, operators can reach an even broader audience.
Dr. Raine Kajastila, CEO of Valo Motion, says: “After installing ValoArena 6-player in over 100 locations worldwide, we have heard a huge amount of positive feedback, but one request repeats often. Operators tell us, ‘If you could fit ValoArena into tighter footprints, we could bring it to so many more people.’
“That’s exactly what drove us to create this 4-player model. You still have a lot of space inside for active fun and maintain the same operational simplicity. We’re on a mission to get people moving and having fun together, and this new standard size means we can reach even more communities!”
The ValoArena is suitable for family entertainment centres (FECs), trampoline parks, shopping centres, hotels, and resorts. The new 4-player model accommodates one to four players with a size of 6.0 m × 5.4 m × 3 m, and the established ValoArena 6-player can fit up to six players in its 8.1 m × 6.4 m × 3.1 m space.
Both models share a game catalogue, with seven titles and more than 20 levels that provide an average game duration of three to four minutes. Additionally, both the four- and six-player models include automatic updates, built-in video booth, usage dashboards, and round-the-clock customer support.
High throughput without staffing
The ValoArena 4-player offers easier retrofitting into compact footprints, which opens up more opportunities for installation in high-traffic areas or spaces that were previously unfeasible. It features the same game library and speedy game rotation, with a high throughput from serving more groups in less space.
As such, the model is perfect for birthday parties and group play. Players enjoy a bigger screen per play area, and the updated layout, which includes dual screens and spatial audio, makes the experience feel even more immersive.

Additionally, the attraction is completely automated and does not require staffing. There are no onboarding routines or extra equipment to manage. Operators simply turn the lights on, open the doors, and start the fun.
The ValoArena 6-player is designed to handle higher numbers of visitors, and is ideal for venues with the space and demand to host larger groups. With 50% more capacity, it is well-suited for big birthday parties, group events, and busy periods.
Continual evolution
In addition to new gameplay content and software updates, Valo Motion continues to refine the physical aspects of its products.
New features for the ValoArena are a tracking camera and a more robust floor system, which is built for the rigours of high-traffic venues. The company continues to improve both hardware and software across its entire product portfolio for long-term reliability. This includes continued upgrades for ValoClimb and ValoJump, as well as new game releases for other platforms.
Recent company milestones include:
- Exceeding 1,000 client locations. Valo Motion attractions are now available in over 1,000 indoor venues globally, including FECs, shopping centres, hotels, resorts, and trampoline parks.
- Over 100 ValoArenas purchased. Operators in the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia are selecting ValoArena for its reliable performance and engaging experience.
- ValoPark launch. The inaugural ValoPark-inspired venue is now open at Total Ninja Interactive in Dubai. The concept combines active play with digital games and features 12 Valo Motion attractions, created to cater to families and group visits.
- Attract mode for ValoJump. When idle, ValoJump now shows game previews on its screen. This grabs visitors’ attention, helps them to understand the offer, and expedites the game selection process.
- More tools for operators: Valo Motion is moving the focus of ValoLeague to local competitions, offering operators more ways to manage fun competitions at their venue with ValoClimb and ValoJump. Operators decide the prizes and the rules. Players can instantly see their scores without needing to log in. The experience is quicker, easier, and ideal for groups and parties.
Valo Motion invites IAAPA Expo Europe 2025 attendees to visit booth #2-683 and #2-983 and experience the new ValoArena 4-player, ValoJump and ValoClimb.
Last month, Valo Motion supplied and installed the 100th ValoArena at Andretti Indoor Karting and Games’ venue in Katy, Texas. Andretti’s managing partner, Eddie Hamann, secured the attraction on the show floor at IAAPA Expo 2024 in Orlando.
