Disney Coronado Springs Resort’s New 15-Story Tower

News
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

Disney Coronado Springs Resort will soon have a new 15-story, 500 room tower, complete with rooftop dining and extra event areas.

Overlooking Coronado Springs’ feature lake, Lago Dorado, the tower’s new rooftop dinner experience will include panoramic views of the nearby Disney theme park’s much loved evening fireworks displays.

“For many of our guests, magical memories begin at one of our 27-themed resorts each and every day,” said Josh D’Amaro, Senior Vice President of Walt Disney World Resort Operations. “At Walt Disney World Resort, we continue to expand our portfolio and invest in new resort developments that allow even more guests to be immersed in all that a Disney resort has to offer.”

The Resort will also re-design existing guest rooms, with theming evoking the Spanish Explorers of North America and their love of adventure. Landscaping will also be re-imagined to include an island oasis, with bridges connecting the different areas within the resort and floating gardens.

After the expansion, Walt Disney World Resort will have almost 30,000 rooms within the 27 resort hotels.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is also to get a new waterfront dining area and a retail shopping area.
