The ’90s sitcom nostalgia continues in New York city with news that a Friends pop-up experience is to open this September celebrating 25 years of the iconic TV show.
‘The One with the Pop-Up’ – as the immersive experience has been nicknamed – offers fans the opportunity to see set re-creations, props and costumes from the hit TV show, which first aired in 1994.
The Friends pop-up experience has been created by Superfly, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Warner Bros. Television Group. It comes on the back of The Seinfeld Experience the same team is developing elsewhere in Manhattan. On both projects, Superfly is collaborating with JRA to provide planning, design and implementation.

Tickets to the Friends New York City Pop-Up go on sale this Friday, August 2. The experience begins outside a replica of the fountain from the Friends title sequence. Â It later culminates with a photo opportunity on the orange couch in the show’s famous Central Perk coffee shop.

- Stick a turkey on your head.
There will, of course, be a retail opportunity, featuring exclusive merchandise.
