Golden Tours Gray Line, London’s leading sightseeing company, has launched a new platform offering virtual tours of London and the UK during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Golden Tours Gray Line is pleased to announce the launch of Golden Tours TV, where viewers can enjoy inspiring and educational tours from the comfort of their own home. Thanks to the new channel, audiences can explore the wonders of London and the UK despite the coronavirus travel bans.
The first edition includes popular key sites from the UK’s capital, such as the Tower of London, The London Eye, Westminster Abbey and more. The tour features lighthearted and engaging commentary by Tom the tour guide.
Virtual adventures
“With so many guided tours available online we felt it was important to bridge the gap in the market and offer an experience that is both informative and fun,” says Managing Director, Mikesh Palan.
Formed in 1984, Golden Tours has established itself as the expert in local sightseeing. It offers trips to some of the country’s most iconic destinations, such as Stonehenge, Oxford, Liverpool and more.
In addition, the company offers open-top sightseeing bus tours in London, overnight trips by train to Paris and Brussels, walking tours, afternoon tea experiences, river cruises, theatre tickets and more. It also runs trips to the popular Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter.
Now it has adapted to the current situation by offering virtual tours through Golden Tours TV, ensuring that it is able to meet its audience’s desire for adventure and new experiences despite the lockdown.
The first edition, entitled ‘Top Things To Do In London | A Tour Guides View’ is now available to watch for free. Viewers simply need to subscribe to Golden Tours TV and can watch the video on desktop or through their mobile device.
