The attraction now has an all-in-one system for admissions, retail, catering, stock management and reporting

Vennersys, the integrated ticketing, retail and visitor management company, has been chosen to provide a ticketing and EPoS solution to Russell Cotes Art Gallery and Museum in Bournemouth, UK. Thanks to VenposCloud, the attraction now has an all-in-one system that can be used for admissions, retail, catering, stock management and reporting and that also facilitates Gift Aid donations.

Russell Coates Art Gallery and Museum is located within a historic Victorian house and gardens and showcases a significant collection of modern works of art. The grade II listed house combines elements of Moorish, Japanese and French decorative styles with classic Victorian design and features a range of artefacts, sculptures, furnishings and paintings.

More efficient operation

Vennersys’ VenposCloud system makes taking Gift Aid donations simple, without the need for lengthy forms or separate processes. Therefore, it is able to increase the take up of charitable donations. In addition, it also simplifies reconciliation, removing the need for manual reporting.

This EPoS solution can quickly process admissions, memberships, retail and catering transactions and group bookings. This means that visitors spend less time queuing and more time enjoying the attraction, while the venue is able to operate more efficiently.

“Russell Cotes wanted a cloud-based system that was adapted to their business needs,” says Megan Thompson, Regional Sales Manager at Vennersys. “It was crucial for them to have a system which reported on visitor footfall and the average transaction value in their gift shop.

“Data-driven insights from our reporting module will help them make informed decisions. The venue can also assess purchase pattern and visitor behaviour to understand their visitors better. This data can help generate more revenue and cultivate loyal customers who will return and continue to spend money on retail and catering.

“I believe that our system will help the heritage site to become more efficient and profitable. In addition, our gift aid module will allow them to maximise gift aid donations.”

Last month, the company also announced that it had been also chosen to provide its integrated ticketing and EPoS system for Museums & Galleries Edinburgh.
