Clip ‘n Climb, an international leader in the fun climbing market, has joined forces with MP Digital to create a branded website and booking system, meaning customers have an improved experience and centres can easily manage bookings. The website soft-launched in 2019 and is now being rolled out on a global scale.
Based in Nottingham, UK, MP Digital is a web development agency with expertise in bespoke online solutions for the leisure industry. It works to create tailored websites and booking systems that provide a streamlined user experience.
MP Digital’s founder, David Maran, says: “I wanted to create a company that enhances other companies, helps them to progress and become bigger and better. This is quite easy to see within the leisure industry, as success online generally increases throughput into a leisure centre/business.”
New website
The new site features a consistent brand identity across the company’s multiple centres and is built on a management platform that ensures it is easy to manage and maintain. It can also be served in different languages.
All Clip ‘n Clip websites are now hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services), meaning the company can comply with GDPR and Data Protection regulations around the world, as well as benefiting from fast page loading.
The new branded site helps to attract customers and to guide them through the booking system, which has been designed with customer conversion and efficiency as a priority. Thanks to MP Digital, the user experience is streamlined, ensuring customer conversion.
The owner of Clip ‘n Climb Nottingham, David Robertson, thoroughly researched and cross-compared different booking systems before choosing to go with digital partner MP Digital, and found customers commented regularly on how easy the new system was to use. He says:
“MP Digital took time to understand our business and our focus on customer experience not only in the centre but from the initial opening of the website. This allowed them to plan the customer journey making it as simple as possible for the customer to complete the transaction.”
The results
Since the initial launch in 2019, Clip ‘n Climb has seen a 30% increase in enquiries. Its centres now have more control of the system with less risk, and the bookings conversion rate across all centres has climbed to 25%. 1.2 million people have booked through the site since its soft launch, resulting in £4.8 million of online bookings.
Last year, Clip n’ Climb also revealed a fresh new look for its classic Jungle Vines and Morse Code Challenges.
