Clip ‘n Climb, an international leader in the fun climbing market, has published the results of its global customer survey on attitudes to COVID-19.
Clip ‘n Climb is pleased to announce that the results of its global survey are now available. The survey was distributed to FEC guests, tracking opinions on safety measures and precautions. The aim is to help operators plan for a safe reopening that takes into account their guests’ needs.
The core audience of the survey was made up of people visiting leisure and entertainment venues:
With family, at 78%
With friends, at 42%
As a chaperone, at 9%
On their own, at 6%
Doing team-building activities, at 5%
The top five activities that respondents said they enjoyed are fun climbing, trampoline, water park, bowling and ziplines. This means that the whole attractions industry can benefit from reading the results of the survey.
Opinions on safety procedures
The report features insights from 700 respondents divided into 5 regions. It can be used by operators to see what measures guests would like to see on reopening.
Many of the respondents to the survey said that they would like to see a limited capacity put in place on venues (82%) and social distancing procedures (79%). Other popular options were the ability to book visits online and to use contactless payments.
However, the use of gloves and masks was not desirable, nor was a tracking app. There were regional differences in the surveys. For instance, respondents were more in favour of masks in France and Spain, whereas gloves were not considered necessary in any country.
The regional reports are now available to download here.
Last month, Clip ‘n Climb announced a new capsule range called Prima, which is available for venues around the world. This new range features mix and match components, allowing FECs, indoor activity centres and climbing gyms to add new features in order to provide fresh activities while maximising space.
