The team will be showcasing game-changing tech at SEA 2021

Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, will be exhibiting at the Saudi Entertainment & Amusement (SEA) Show in Riyadh from 7 – 9 September 2021. As the team returns to in-person events this summer it is looking forward to meeting new and existing customers, partners and friends, while showcasing its cashless business management systems and solutions.

“KSA is a major market for us and at the heart of our MENA strategy,” says Embed CEO Renee Welsh. “Saudi Arabia is both the cultural and economic powerhouse of the region and we give it our unlimited attention. There are many mega entertainment projects underway, and what makes this exciting is that they are part of the country future diversification in his Highness’s Saudi Vision 2030.

The Mobile Wallet

“Embed will be part of this wonderful journey, delivering various transformative initiatives to support the industry and also empower, enable, and ease the business of fun for our customers,” adds Welsh.

“So far, we have managed to work with our partners in the country to deliver some of our award-winning products such as the Embed Mobile Wallet & Portal which allows customers to use their mobile phone to play games, control their spending and move to a COVID-safe, contactless environment, similar to what we are seeing with the banking industry with Apple Wallet and Google Pay. Saudi Arabia has a young, vibrant and mobile-savvy population, an ideal market for the low-touch economy of the future.”

At the Embed booth, SEA attendees can discover the award-winning Mobile Wallet, which the company is continuing to give away for free in the wake of the pandemic. The Mobile Wallet, which is protected by advanced security and encrypted mobile technology, allows guests to benefit from a cashless virtual game card directly from their own device. This means they can reload anywhere, anytime, without the need to queue.

RFID wearables

The team will also be showcasing a range of RFID media wearables, which Embed first introduced at IAAPA Expo 2019. These redefine the traditional game card, bringing fashion and technology together. There are more than 200 design variations to choose from, covering a whole variety of consumer demographic and amusement categories. The wearables are designed to be the currency of family entertainment businesses, helping operators drive revenue, loyalty and return visits.

Embed client Clint Novak, General Manager of Fun Land of Fredericksburg, says, “One of the most valuable features Fun Land takes advantage of is the RFID wristbands from Embed. The wristbands set us apart from the pack because no one is utilizing this technology like Fun Land. After we got the system up and running, we saw a huge uptick in people coming to the park and their ability to use the system.”

Attendees can find the Embed team at booth #1E51, and can also book a meeting in advance by clicking here.

Embed celebrates its 20th anniversary this month, with a virtual gallery of innovation and the extension of its free Mobile Wallet offer. It has also launched some limited edition anniversary-themed Game Cards.
