Leading experience design firm, Jora Vision, has developed, designed and built a next generation escape room attraction for French FEC, Aerokart.
The story-driven, 1000m² Winscape attraction promises to take the genre to a whole new level with fully themed spaces, mental and physical challenges, and staff who stay in character from beginning to end.
Aerokart, near Paris, was seeking a brand new adrenaline-filled, immersive experience to complement its existing kart circuit and skydiving facility.
In response, Jora Vision created the large capacity Winscape, themed on a science fiction adventure in which the French space agency is seeking candidates for a tough, top secret space mission.
Twelve, interconnected escape rooms feature a unique range of challenges including physical, sensorial, IQ, reaction and precision games. Teams have to solve each challenge against the clock before moving to the next room. An interactive system awards points for individual and team performances.
Four different courses can be undertaken, for both adults and children. The better the team works together, the quicker the escape.
Jora Vision said the company was proud to have created “the world’s first escape room which combines an immersive story, multiple rooms, large capacity, interactive content and even physical challenges — the combination of these elements is unique and usually not found in traditional escape rooms.”
Jora Vision selected MCW / creative agency for the multimedia technology, audio-video content and show control; Mansveld for computer hardware and InventDesign for overall lighting.
