Firm has deployed its Tixera Park and Attraction Solutions at the seaside amusement park

Semnox Solutions, a provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, has deployed its Tixera Park and Attraction Solutions at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, UK.

This collaboration has enhanced the amusement park’s operations by providing greater convenience, automation, and significant data insights.

Prior to implementing Semnox’s technologies, Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach relied on methods such as metal tokens and paper bands for park operations. The manual processes involved in operating these systems needed an immense amount of human effort, such as counting tokens and manually certifying membership cards. The Pleasure Beach decided to adopt Semnox’s cutting-edge technology to meet its need for modernisation and operational efficiency.

Jamie Jones, executive director of Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, says: “The response from our customers and staff after the system’s implementation has been very positive, with great customer feedback and staff finding the system easy to use after initial training. Overall, we have been very pleased with the Semnox implementation and support. The system has proven to be very efficient and a great benefit to our business.”

The installation includes a number of features from Tixera Park and Attraction Solutions: 10 access control gates with an entry validation system, over 30 XTER Readers at ride locations, annual membership management software with photo validation, online and on-site bookings, and seven self-service kiosks which are positioned throughout the park, for quick and easy purchases.

More time for strategic development

The park’s leadership and employees now have more time to focus on strategic marketing and development, driving growth, and improving the entire guest experience thanks to the automation of essential operations and the reduction of manual tasks. Semnox’s technology also offers thorough reporting, which supports better decision-making.

Jones adds: “Semnox has allowed us to revolutionize our form of operation, using modern technology to our advantage and allowing us to gain valuable data of our park’s performance, which we feel in our industry is essential for growth. The main benefits we have seen so far are an uplift in revenue, and we have gained valuable data from the reporting which allows us to make more conscious decisions to move the business forward.”

In June, Semnox Solutions announced that Tixera had gone live at Aqua World Water Park in Naalya. This is Semnox Solutions’ first project in Uganda and supports a variety of activities at the attraction, including ticketing, admission validations, food and beverage, digital signage, and weather-proof deducting agents.
