Mixed reality attractions provide healthy, active fun around the world

Valo Motion, a pioneer in combining interactive technology with physical activities, has announced that, in the wake of its five-year anniversary, it has reached 100 years of total product usage. Combining the overall amount of time that players have enjoyed fun activities on its 700+ units around the world, this adds up to a century of playing time.

“Wall climbing and trampoline jumping are both great exercises, but ValoClimb and ValoJump make them more fun and more efficient because of the incredible excitement they create for the players,” says Dr Raine Kajastila, CEO and founder of Valo Motion.

“You also will push your limits further when collecting points or competing against your friend. Players are super happy about action-filled and fun exercise and location owners get a lot of customers in to play our games. It’s a win-win situation.”

1 million hours of climbing and jumping fun

In addition to this, Valo Motion has also hit the milestone of 1 million hours of product usage. In fact, in just one month, June 2021, the company saw more than 15,424 hours of use – keeping players active, healthy and entertained.

Valo Motion operations hub

Back in 2019, Valo Motion discovered that its mixed reality games, ValoClimb and ValoJump, had helped guests to burn more than 350 million calories. All this data comes from the Operations Hub, which is included in the products’ Valo Motion Service. With this, operators can see a breakdown of the product and game usage by day, week or month. As a result, they can see which games and the most popular, and collect useful visitor insights.

ValoClimb and ValoJump installations can be found in more than 700 venues, in over 60 countries across the globe. Combining these locations, visitors have played over 64,400 games each day.

Earlier this year, Valo Motion announced the launch of ValoLeague: the first-ever Active eSports League for mixed reality (XR) trampoline and climbing walls.
