Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, provided Zone Out Arcade with integrated cashless solutions. The local family-owned and operated arcade in Nelson Bay, Australia opened December 2020—amid summer holidays and a global pandemic.
Family and service-oriented
The arcade offers both the latest games like King Kong VR. Jurassic World, and crowd favorites like air hockey. Players can also try skill and speed-testing games, like a ball drop where players sink as many balls as possible.
“Although there was an ongoing pandemic, we were seeing people come into our venue quite quickly and strongly motivated to have fun with their family and friends,” says Emily Pattison, Co-owner, Zone Out Arcade.
“It was a no-brainer for us to embark on this business, and to see the smile on our guests’ faces made it all worthwhile.” Pattison’s core values align with vendor Embed’s.
“Our ‘customer first’ approach focuses on solutions that enable the optimum guest experience, and it’s the driver behind our development efforts because when the customer thrives, the operators thrive,” said Renee Welsh, CEO, Solutions Group.
Integrated efficiencies
Embed equipped Zone Out Arcade with a total integrated business platform solution that is accessible from anywhere. Because the system includes Embed’s self-service kiosk, award-winning smartTOUCH readers, integrated point-of-sale and PRIZES management, efficiencies are easier to achieve.
“Helping our customers lower their operating costs while driving higher profit and achieving their business goals is the core of everything we do at Embed,” says Welsh.
Pattison emphatically believes that the support she received from Embed sets the company apart. “We’re so grateful for the customer support from Embed, which enabled us to open our premises on time,” she says. “Embed’s support team has remained constant, efficient, and reliable.”
Embed recently signed an exclusive three-year agreement with Veltmeijer Group in the Netherlands to open new amusement centers across Europe.
