accesso Technology Group plc, a leading technology provider, has announced a three-year partnership with the National WWII Museum in New Orleans. The complete technology solution includes hassle-free ticketing, as well as guest metrics and opportunities to drive revenue.

The National WWII Museum in New Orleans began nearly 20 years ago and offers visitors a chance to understand the story of WWII. It features multimedia experiences and immersive exhibits. These allow guests to fully explore its large collection of artefacts as well as oral histories. It also provides online services such as digital collections, virtual field trips, and educational sessions. The museum is pleased to be entering into a three-year partnership with accesso.

accesso provides a complete solution

The technology solutions provider will be installing an eCommerce ticketing suite, the accesso Passport. This allows the museum to drive revenue through up-selling and cross-selling. Guests will enjoy a simple ticketing experience at the gate, and the museum will be able to access in-depth guest metric assessments through the accesso Siriusware software.

ā€œItā€™s an honour to know that our technology will further empower The National WWII Museum to preserve the memory of such a defining moment in American history,ā€ says Paul Noland,Ā accessoĀ CEO. ā€œBy allowing our solutions ā€“ and the dedicated team that backs them ā€“ to do the heavy lifting in supporting ticketing, admissions and eCommerce functions, weā€™re freeing up the Museumā€™s team to focus on what they do best ā€“ developing and implementing brilliant, large-scale initiatives that help tell the story of World War II and communicate its importance forĀ  generations to come.ā€

The system is planned for implementation in August 2019. It will allow visitors streamlined experiences both pre-visit and on-site. It will also allow the museum to gain actionable insights from its audience.

The National WWII Museum lets visitors make a personal connection to history. It takes part in the respected International Conference on World War II and will also be taking part in a special event at the AAM Annual Meeting & Expo this year. The closing party, Parade of Museums, will be a night of art, food, culture and history. The museum will open its doors for a celebratory block party, along with the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, and Contemporary Arts Center.

accesso recently provided its technology and ticketing solutions for the Bear Grylls Adventure and the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station.
