Embed at Amusement Expo International 2024

Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, is set to take part in Amusement Expo International in Las Vegas once more. The firm’s Success Squad will attend the 2024 event, which is taking place from 18 to 21 March. The exhibit hall is open from 20 to 21 March.

The Success Squad will champion client success and generate transformational growth for FECs and will be marking International Women’s Day at the expo.

Renee Welsh, CEO at Embed, says: “Since IAAPA Orlando 2023 when we first introduced the Embed Success Squad, this dedicated team of consultants, champions, and trainers – a mix of growth gurus, SaaS experts, and payment specialists – has done nothing short of excellent for our customers who have experienced growth with their Embed system during installation and are now driving transformational growth with our SaaS solutions.

“We’re excited to have Embed prospects and existing members of the Embed family – our customers and partners – meet them again at Amusement Expo!

“In only a couple of months, since we launched the Success Squad, FECs of all business types and sizes have already experienced a massive boost in savings from changing their payment provider and seen as much as a 200% increase in their average reload value thanks to the uptake velocity brought about by our Success Squad – the combination of savings and a boost in revenue is a life-changer!”

Success Squad support

The Embed Success Squad offers a range of complimentary services to all Embed family members.

Sara Paz, CMO and Embed Success Squad transformation guru, explains: “There’s no greater testament to a company’s customer-centricity than the willingness to hire a team, a Success Squad, with the single-minded aim of helping its customers maximise their integrated hardware and software system and support their business transformation.

“With 1-year FREE Mobile Wallet and 3-months FREE STATS subscriptions, complimentary payment gateway cost-saving analysis, free best practice training from the industry’s best FECs, free marketing kits or printed assets that cover the entire customer journey in an FEC, and the Embed GoTrain – all these are done to drive consumer uptake of Mobile Wallet.”

Embed’s Mobile Wallet 2022-2023 metric findings from its clients reveal a huge rise of five times for average recharge value ($50.57) compared to cash ($9.90) and credit card ($31.95), with 60% of reloads taking place before visitors even reach the FEC.

The Success Squad’s training division, Embed GoTrain, offers gamified in-venue training for FEC operators and employees. This aims to increase Mobile Wallet registrations and sign-ups and supports clients in achieving their desired objectives.

GoTrain sessions have been delivered at multi-location FECs such as Big Al’s, and single-locations like Yakima Family Fun Center

Jon Federmeyer, guest service manager at Big Al’s Vancouver, Washington, shares: “It’s just going to be awesome to be able to tell guests to just open their phone and be able to just jump right into the game when they arrive as opposed to waiting. It’s definitely going to change the culture here. We can now circumvent lines, allowing us to be more interactive with our guests and telling them about our Mobile Wallet promotions instead of spending time stationed behind a counter.”

Yakima Family Fun Center’s Mobile Wallet visitor registrations increased by 5.4 times following their GoTrain session. This led to a five times increase in average reload value, from $10 to $50.

Virtual training

In addition to in-person training, Embed family members can take advantage of the GoTrain Express. This virtual training programme accelerates Mobile Wallet adoption and boosts reload value, and delivers strong results. It includes benefits and freebies such as Mobile Wallet Ambassador accreditation for staff training completion, which equates to a FREE one-month Mobile Wallet subscription worth $79 for each certified employee.

GoTrain and GoTrain Express participants will receive a unique RSP code to monitor their performance on the official Leaderboard. They will be eligible for regular prizes, which will be announced on the GoTrain website. This encourages employees to practise their Mobile Wallet training and motivates them to assist their FECs in increasing revenue, ensuring profitability for the operator, and delivering a better experience for visitors.

Embed will also demonstrate its other Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, such as STATS. This is a business intelligence dashboard driven by Amazon Web Services that provides operators with FEC data in real-time. This includes insights such as game performance, revenue prediction based on past data, inventory, and even staff allocation.

The smartTOUCH+ will be unveiled at the Amusement Expo. This features 512 MB DDR3 RAM, 528 Mhz processing power, 4 GB storage, 23 dBm signal, and 2.4 and 5 Ghz data transmission.

Furthermore, Embed will present a major advancement in its round-the-clock support which helps customers maximise the potential of their products. EmPOWER, the Embed AnswerBot, is the first of its type in this sector and has been developed to help clients by delivering relevant Embed Help Centre information. Clients can access EmPOWER by emailing support@embedcard.com. It will soon also be available through Embed Help Centre’s Live Chat function.

Investing in women

To recognise the incredible efforts and achievements of women in the sector, Embed will give away exclusive Women@Embed pins during Amusement Expo International 2024.

Welsh says: “At Embed, we believe in the value of diversity in our talent pool. We have a shared commitment to gender parity at all levels of the organisation because we believe in the boundless intellectual, leadership, cultural, and commercial strength that results from harnessing and realising the talent capital of gender and cultural equality. We take great pride in not only being gender-equal but putting an end to gender inequality in our tech sector.”

Paz adds: “It shouldn’t be surprising that Embed is 100% aligned with the United Nations 2024 International Women’s Day platform theme: ‘Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress.’ At Embed, we’re already there! At Embed you should ‘Expect HER in Tech!’ A 2023 McKinsey study shows that companies with significant female representation at the top earn up to 50% higher profits and stock performance! Women@Embed are never spectators – they’re an equal part of leading the high-performing teams transforming the industry of fun.”

Attendees can find the Embed team and their portfolio of integrated hardware and software solutions, including the KIOSK+, TOOLKIT suite, and a display of game cards and wearable media, in the exhibit hall at Amusement Expo International from 20 to 21 March 2024.

Embed will also be exhibiting at the 2024 Dubai Entertainment Amusement and Leisure Exhibition (DEAL). This 30th edition of DEAL is taking place from 5 to 7 March at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Embed will celebrate International Women’s Day and showcase its cutting-edge technologies at the event.
