The landmark attraction has been updated with potential to enter the metaverse

The Giant Company, an Irish organisation working in concert with cities, embassies, and leaders across the globe, has announced new technologies which have been integrated into its innovative landmark opportunity.

The news is part of a series of announcements The Giant Company is set to make over the coming days in the lead-up to IAAPA Expo Europe.

The Giant is set to become the world’s tallest moving sculpture, enabling visitors to literally stand on the shoulders of a giant, at least forty meters in height.

The Giant Experience, a unique exhibition space, will take visitors through an immersive journey delving into the world of giants, including the legends and myths, along with a celebration of the huge personalities of modern times.

“The Giant is the cutting-edge visitor attraction concept for the 21st century,” says the company. “It imaginatively integrates the fun and engagement of a family entertainment centre, the artistic and educational features of a museum, and the rewarding sense of personal discovery of an inspiring motivational experience.”

Sustainable tech

The Giant Company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability has resulted in concept improvements using the latest technologies.

The skin of The Giant has been designed to instantly transform into a wide range of images using state-of-the-art patented LED and scanning technology. The latest design for The Giant’s skin brings solar panels into the LED matrix, designed for improved environmental credentials and reduced energy consumption.

The Giant can display any person, such as visitors, who can be scanned on-site and displayed on the sculpture, creating the largest selfie opportunity on earth. Holograms of visitors can also be used in a variety of augmented reality environments, including the prospect of transporting guests into the metaverse.

The Giant can also be used as a creative canvas for a range of organisations including community engagement, artistic curation, brand launches, as well as celebrations and seasonal events.

The Giant Company is currently seeking appropriate sites and partners around the world. Interested parties can find out more by visiting its website, or by email. The firm will be at IAAPA Expo Europe at booth #4005, taking place at ExCel London from 13-15 September 2022.
