Helix Leisure subsidiary, The Locker Network, continues its expansion with a new installation at Bananas Fun Park in Grand Junction, Colorado.
The Locker Network has announced its new installation at the newly opened Coconut Cove mini-waterpark at Bananas Fun Park. The new aqua play centre has 150 keyless, electronic lockers in a mix of family and standard sizes. These offer guests a secure alternative to the free cubby holes that were previously available.
The Locker Network has installed the facility free of charge on a revenue share plan. The lockers will provide Bananas Fun Park with a source of ongoing revenue. Meanwhile The Locker Network will take care of the lockers’ day to day operation and management.
“We contacted the Locker Network to assist us in providing much needed locker space for our new water attraction,” says Chris Burns, co-owner of Bananas Fun Park said. “The lockers installed look great, are easy to operate, and immediately began to generate revenue to our park even prior to the new attraction opening.” He claims they are a “very worthwhile investment indeed.”

The news comes hard on the tail of another new installation for The Locker Network.
Bananas Fun Park offers a wide range of family attractions, including go-karts, miniature golf, an inflatable playland, bumper boats, and laser tag. There is also a 12,000-square foot arcade, plus a café.
Coconut Cove is a multi-level aqua play centre. It boasts more than 50 water features, over 100 jet features and 12 different spinning trays and bubbler jets. Its piece de resistance is a 10,000-gallon tipping bucket.
