Photogenic Inc., a souvenir photography company providing ground-breaking capture technologies, has announced plans to continue investing in future technologies and human resources.

Photogenic is working with its partners to drive traffic to venues and provide an improved guest experience that encourages repeat visits. The firm uses its expertise in imaging and user-generated content to drive engagement by supporting its team members.

Photogenic’s new chief technology officer Felix Torres says: “We live in a world where technology is ever-changing, sometimes drastically. But at Photogenic, we have an infrastructure that can adapt quickly and implement the next best thing.”

“Right now, we are investing heavily in research and development, hardware, and cloud infrastructure. We want to continue to best serve our guests from first touch point at physical locations all the way through the cloud and beyond.”

Driving engagement

The firm has a strong marketing team with more than a dozen colleagues including marketing data analysts, recruitment marketing specialists, graphic designers and collaborative marketing experts.

The firm has brought its experiences to a range of top destinations including San Antonio Zoo. Photogenic comments: “These individuals help to create the most dynamic B2C marketing team in the industry, with a single mission: to use collaboration, industry insights and Photogenic tools to stimulate the creation of user-generated content (UGC) and social sharing that will drive more guests to partner venues,” says the firm.

For instance, Photogenic’s proprietary ePostcard technology features video integration to complement conventional photography, provided free of charge for all guests visiting participating locations. As part of Photogenic’s Instant Mobile Sales Platform, these customisable videos record fun footage of the guests’ experience, combining souvenir photos with video highlights from key attractions during their visit.

With a one-tap sharing feature, guests can show off their day out with ease on social media platforms. ePostcard helps create new social media conversations and aids attractions in engaging potential future customers.

Photogenic has thousands of team members who handle souvenir and photo experiences at almost 700 locations across North America.
