Blackpool Pleasure Beach Selects accesso Siriusware℠ point-of-sale solutions

News

Premier technology solutions provider, access Technology Group plc, has announced that  Blackpool Pleasure Beach will be utilising its Siriusware point-of-sale solutions next season.

The iconic amusement park will be the first in Europe to adopt the software solution since accesso acquired SiriuswareSM in 2013.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been using the company’s LoQueueSM ride reservation system for the past five years.

The new agreement builds on this relationship, providing point-of-sale and guest management capabilities, including front gate ticketing, season pass processing, access control, group sales, gift card management, food and beverage and retail point-of-sale.

Describing the park as a valued client, Tom Burnet, accesso CEO said the agreement underlined accesso’s strategy of offering a wide range of leading technology solutions to the global attractions market. He added, “The park continues to demonstrate its deep commitment to its patrons by making important investments in innovation that enhance and streamline their guest journey.”

Amanda Thompson OBE, Managing Director, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, said accesso had been chosen from a number of strong contenders after a rigorous selection process: “Their in-depth knowledge of the industry and their cutting edge technology makes them the best partner to fulfill our business objectives and we look forward to working with them.”
