Disneyland has unveiled the innovative merchandise of Avengers Campus, including a wearable gadget that customises the Web Slingers ride.

Opening on June 4, Avengers Campus shops include the Avengers Campus Supply Pod and Web Suppliers, as well as the Backlot Premiere Shop featuring Avengers Campus.

The Web Power Band will let visitors customise their ride experience on WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, the new attraction at Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus.

Web Slingers is Disney’s first ride-through attraction to feature Spider-Man, with Tom Holland reprising his role as Peter Parker. It merges physical sets with virtual worlds and uses innovative technology.

All riders will be able to sling webs from their wrists on Web Slingers. However, the Web Power Band wearable features an attraction mode that enhances the ride by unlocking multi-fire webs.

Visitors can also add Web Tech to their Web Power Bands, which changes their powers on the ride to those inspired by fan-favourite characters such as Spider-Man, Iron Man and Rescue.

Spider-Man and Ghost Spider-themed Web Shooters will change guests’ powers to electro-dynamic webs on the ride and at home, also lighting up and shooting webs.

Iron Man and Rescue-inspired Repulsor Cannons change powers to repulsor blasts on the ride and at home, and also light up and blast air with training spheres.

Spider-Bots at Disney California Adventure

In addition, interactive Spider-Bots are powered by a remote control with eight articulated legs. They can be customised to harness the powers and style of Black Panther, Iron Man and Black Widow, as well as Ant-Man and The Wasp.

Also available at Avengers Campus are Spider-Man goggles that interact with surroundings, a Spider-Man action figure that interacts with mini Spider-Bots, and official Avengers Campus gear.

“We are so excited to soon welcome our guests to Avengers Campus, our first land dedicated to Super Heroes,” said Ken Potrock, president of Disneyland Resort.

Meanwhile, Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is opening on June 21 at Disneyland Paris. It is the first hotel in the world dedicated to Marvel art.
