ILMxLAB, Lucasfilm’s immersive entertainment studio, has released the official gameplay trailer for Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call, launching on September 15 for Oculus Quest.
Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge is a VR experience where players get to explore the outskirts of the Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu, as depicted at Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge expansion.
Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call features new characters and adventures, as well as two new tales and myriad new items to buy and try at Mubo’s Workshop.
The trailer reveals characters such as Hondo Ohnaka (voiced by Jim Cummings), Neeva (voiced by Anika Noni Rose), Lt. Gauge (Daman Mills), Boggs Triff (Darin DePaul) and IG-88 (Rhys Darby).

It also features returning character Ady Sun’Zee (voiced by Ellie Araiza), as well as familiar faces like R2-D2 and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels).
In addition, Last Call includes Dok-Ondar (Cory Rouse), Seezelslak (Bobby Moynihan), Lens Kamo (Karla Crome) and Baron Attsmun (Mark Rolston).
In Last Call, players will get to explore even more of Batuu as Dok-Ondar recruits them to recover an ancient artefact. New environments include Sardeevem Chasm and the Cavern of the Moons.
There will be pirates and new threats, puzzles to solve, and a hidden First Order facility far away from the Black Spire Outpost where players will infiltrate a dangerous operation.
VR experience at Galaxy’s Edge

Last Call’s new tales are ‘The Bounty of Boggs Triff’ and ‘The Sacred Garden’. Users will play as assassin droid IG-88 in The Bounty of Boggs Triff, traversing an impregnable fortress.
The Sacred Garden continues the story of Ady’Sun Zee and is set in ‘The High Republic’ era. The apprentice is now a Jedi Knight and must teach her Padawan the ways of the Force.
Disney recently released footage of Walt Disney Imagineering’s realistic lightsaber, which Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser guests will be the first to enjoy when the hotel launches at Walt Disney World in 2022.
Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge is available now on the Oculus Quest platform. Last Call launches on September 15.
