Walt Disney World has teased its immersive Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel experience, set to launch at the theme park in 2022.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is opening at Walt Disney World Resort in 2022. Disney has teased the themed accommodation in an official poster that depicts the Halcyon starcruiser.

The Halcyon ship is where visitors will stay for two nights. According to the Disney Parks Blog, the starcruiser is famed for its impeccable service, thrilling entertainment and delicious F&B.

The poster reveals four characters representing the ship’s passengers – a child in Jedi robes holding a lightsaber, an adult dressed as a First Order officer, a Twi’lek adult, and a child holding a device.

Also featured in the poster is an R-series astromech droid, as well as a lightsaber training experience and the Crown of Corellia Dining Room – the starcruiser’s supper club.

Kylo Ren is pictured above First Order stormtroopers, and Chewbacca and his bowcaster can be seen in the upper-right corner. At the bottom, there’s a glimpse at the spires of Batuu.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will feature activities such as lightsaber training and a trip to the starcruiser’s bridge to learn how to operate ship systems. Guests will also spend a day at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Upon arrival at the Galactic Starcruiser Terminal, visitors will enter an exclusive launch pod to travel to the Halcyon ship. They will feel like they are speeding through space, thanks to the pod’s viewports.

“Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is a completely new type of experience,” Ann Morrow Johnson, executive producer for Walt Disney Imagineering, said last year.

“For the first time, we’re going to invite guests to become the hero of their own Star Wars adventure,” she said. “They will live aboard a starship for two days and two nights.”

Disney will soon share an in-depth conversation about Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser with Walt Disney Imagineering.
