Teo 2024 Touring Exhibitions Pavilion

Pavilion at Museum Connections in Paris will include two conference sessions

The Touring Exhibitions Organisation (Teo), a one-stop resource platform for the international touring exhibitions community, has shared details of the Touring Exhibitions Pavilion in collaboration with the international museum event Museum Connections.

This annual event, which is taking place in Paris from 16 to 17 January 2024, is dedicated to international touring exhibitions and gathers international creators and hosts of travelling exhibitions to explore emerging trends, productions, and projects.

Visitors can register for free until 1 December.

International creators

Professionals from museums, cultural institutions, historical landmarks, leisure organisations, and tourism boards who welcome or are interested in welcoming touring exhibitions will meet in the spacious Touring Exhibitions Pavilion for two days of discussions, conferences, and meetings.

The pavilion offers an opportunity to meet with experts and institutions from around the world and to explore a wide array of science, art, design, natural history, world cultures, history, and popular culture exhibitions that are available for future partnerships and presentations. Delegates can also book individual meetings with international producers via the Teo team.

In addition, Teo will be hosting two conference sessions on international touring exhibitions which will showcase the most recent productions and creative innovation.

Cultural institutions and experts from France, Canada, England, Australia, Italy, Belgium, the US, Scotland, and other countries will share new exhibitions and experiences spanning art, science, design, history, natural history, cultures, technology, and popular culture.

The talks programme will consider exhibitions and experiences developed for museums and cultural institutions, heritage and leisure venues, tourism boards, parks and public spaces. Speakers will share their insights into innovative immersive, sensorial, interactive and sustainable exhibition development.

Following these sessions, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the speakers at the Touring Exhibitions Pavilion.

The Touring Exhibitions Organisation’s annual Teo Live event took place in May, and featured keynote speakers Anaïs Aguerre and Otone Doi from Culture Connect. This online event was created to support the international touring exhibitions community. Previous speakers at Teo Live have included Loïc Fel, co-founder of the Coalition for Art and Sustainable Development (COAL), and Fabienne Voisin, who has dedicated her career to supporting the creation and promotion of music to large audiences.
