Semnox Solutions, a provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, has revealed that it has installed its innovative solutions at The DockX in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The DockX is a leading gaming and entertainment centre established by Fawasel. It offers a variety of entertainment choices, including mini-golf, arcade games, bowling, karaoke, card rooms, and DJ sets.

The DockX’s operations have been improved by adopting Semnox’s customised integrated hardware and software solutions, which simplify business procedures and improve the overall visitor experience.
The hardware implementation consists of swing barrier gates for access control, XTER and XCCESS RFID and barcode readers for attractions, and Parafait LuminOS “tap-to-play” readers for the arcade. Guests can also buy new RFID cards, top-up current cards, check balances and card histories, apply discount coupons and pay with notes, coins and bank cards at the Semnox Klassic Self-Service Kiosk with its intuitive UI.
Semnox has also supplied complete software solutions, with an online reporting system hosted on AWS, a membership and loyalty programme, and retail inventory management among these services. F&B management, POS software, waiver management, on-site party booking, and reservation modules are some other software options.
The offering also includes a smart, entertaining mobile app for visitors, an online e-commerce card/wristband purchase website, and the mobile app for the Parafait BizInsights analytics dashboard.
