Semnox Solutions, a provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, has won the ENADA Primavera Innovation District Award for Best Innovative Product at the Rimini Amusement Show, which took place last month in Italy.
The award was presented for Semnox’s Radian Smart Wristband, an advanced RFID-based solution which improves time-based access management at entertainment venues.
This recognition follows the technology’s recent success at the 2024 IAAPI National Awards for Excellence. In addition, the Radian wristband has been awarded a US patent, solidifying its standing as a leading solution for the amusement sector.

Automated attraction management
As a rechargeable RFID-based wearable, the Radian Smart Wristband automates check-in and check-out, removes the need for manual tracking, and minimises staffing requirements. It supports environmentally friendly operations by offering a sustainable substitute for paper wristbands.
Radian uses customisable LED patterns, haptic alerts, and RFID technology to communicate with visitors using vibration and colour-coded notifications. As the session comes to a close, it flashes red with long vibrations for a smooth check-out process.
The wristband also offers integration with RFID readers and locks. This provides seamless venue access control with wireless connectivity throughout large attractions.

Last month, Semnox Solutions completed the rollout of its technology at SuperPark Riyadh, an indoor entertainment destination at the Hayat Mall which offers an array of exciting experiences for all ages.
