Companies Showcase Innovative Products and Services at Premier Conference and Trade Fair for the Attractions Industry in Europe
From Tuesday, 27 September to Thursday, 29 September, the conveniently located Olympia Exhibition Centre in London will host the largest conference and trade show for the attractions industry in Europe, Euro Attractions Show (EAS) 2011. A record number of exhibiting companies will present the latest products and services for the attractions on the largest trade show floor in the event’s seven-year history. More than 8.000 visitors from 80 countries are expected to participate in the three-day event.

As of 13 September, 333 exhibitors from 60 counties have booked exhibit space for EAS 2011. The number of major companies and organizations from the host country is remarkable, with 82 United Kingdom (UK) companies. Visitors will find the latest products and professional services for theme and amusement parks, waterparks, zoos, aquariums, family entertainment centres, museums, carnivals, attractions, shopping centres, casinos, resorts, arcades, golf, and concert facilities. The cutting-edge products and transformational services featured will include roller coasters, children’s rides, water slides, special effects, ticketing and admission systems, 3-D movies, motion simulators, action photography, games, advice and consultancy services, design and layout companies, and theatrical show effects and stage productions.
“With the largest show floor in the history of EAS, the extensive education programme, the many tours, and the unique special events, EAS is the must-attend event for anyone involved in the attractions industry, ” states Mats Wedin, Chairman of the IAAPA European Advisory Committee.

Conference and Trade Show
In addition to the trade show, a diversified programme with educational sessions and networking events will be offered. Education seminar topics include marketing, safety, human resources, and waterparks, family entertainment centres, and indoor playgrounds.
Nick Varney, CEO of Merlin Entertainments Group, will be the keynote speaker at the first Euro Attractions Show Leadership Breakfast on Tuesday, 27 September.
EAS will also offer tours to various attractions throughout London including the EDF Energy London Eye, Madame Tussauds, and LEGOLAND®. A special EAS Post-Event Tour is available for registered attendees to visit several IAAPA member attractions throughout the UK including: Pleasure Beach Resort in Blackpool, the newly refurbished Blackpool Tower, and Drayton Manor Theme Park.
