The pop-up attraction is a celebration of the franchise’s 25th anniversary

Another immersive experience is opening in London, and this time it’s inspired by Sex and the City to celebrate the HBO show’s 25th anniversary.

The pop-up attraction, announced by Warner Bros. Discovery and Sky, is a celebration of the franchise’s 25th anniversary and the launch of the second season of And Just Like That…

Located in London’s Piccadilly Circus and billed as “the ultimate celebration of TV’s most fabulous franchise”, the experience will immerse fans in the world of Sex and the City between 20 and 25 June.

Guests will sip on cosmos and enjoy recreated scenes, including Carrie Bradshaw’s stoop and apartment. They will be able to take photos inside her closet and in front of her laptop.

Season two of And Just Like That… stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis. It debuts on Sky Comedy and Now on 22 June.

Putting fans inside their favourite TV shows and films is a huge trend in the attractions industry. Recent experiences have been based on Squid Game, Stranger Things and Bridgerton.

TV brand experiences trend

Ahead of the theatrical release of Wes Anderson‘s Asteroid City, a pop-up exhibition to promote the sci-fi comedy drama is opening in London on 17 June.

The experience includes original sets, props, miniatures, costumes and artwork featured in the film, and features a replica of Asteroid City‘s 1950s diner, the Luncheonette.

Elsewhere, New York City’s Paley Center for Media has opened a new Will & Grace exhibition, and the official Friends experience is making its UK debut in Birmingham on 8 July.
