Topgolf Entertainment Group, a global sports and entertainment company, has announced a unique 9-Shot Challenge Global Tournament.

9-Shot Challenge is an innovative global competition that lets players compete virtually from anywhere in the world.

The cross-platform golf competition will be available to players at participating locations of Toptracer Range and gamers of the World Golf Tour (WGT).

9-Shot Challenge players will compete on virtual courses, and can see their position on global leaderboards, which track progress throughout the tournament.

“Introducing innovative ways to access the game of golf and connecting communities through fun and technology-driven experiences is at the core of who we are as a brand.

Connecting through tech-driven experiences

“This is why we are thrilled to see the 9-Shot Challenge come to life across multiple Topgolf-enabled platforms,” said Topgolf CEO Dolf Berle.

“The ability to bring this competition to people in all corners of the world in a real-time, immersive event is a monumental milestone on our journey to connect people at the intersection of sports and technology, and we can’t wait to see this competition unfold.”

The first event of 9-Shot Challenge takes place between February 6 and 14 on the virtual Pebble Beach Golf Links course. This can be accessed at Topracer Range and Topgolf, and on WGT.

Top contestants in each tournament will win prizes for their efforts, including golf balls, memberships to WGT, and Callaway Golf Clubs.
