Experience UK, a not-for-profit trade association representing British businesses involved in the creation and delivery of world-class visitor attractions and experiences, will host its Summer Social mixer on 9 July at the NEC - Nation’s Experience Capital in Birmingham.
Members, partners, and industry friends can experience an evening full of networking, insights, and behind-the-scenes access at the dynamic entertainment venue. Starting at 5 pm and extending into the night, the event offers guests opportunities to connect with colleagues in the experience economy while enjoying food and drinks in a casual, lively environment.
The NEC is embarking on an exciting new phase as the Nation’s Experience Capital, establishing itself as a future hub for immersive attractions, live entertainment, and exceptional visitor experiences.
Exploring the future of live & immersive experiences
In the evening, guests will hear firsthand from the NEC team about the vision guiding the rebrand, the site's development, and the thrilling plans that will turn it into a key destination for leisure and entertainment.
Attendees will gain exclusive insights into some of the major experiences arriving at the venue this summer. The event features contributions from Path Entertainment and its creative partners, sharing the story behind the new Peppa Pig attraction and offering a behind-the-scenes look at its creation.
Other speakers and partners involved in NEC’s expanding entertainment offerings will also share their views on the future of immersive and live experiences.
This special summer social event will be an evening characterised by industry insights, valuable networking opportunities, and exclusive access to projects that are helping to redefine the UK’s visitor and entertainment landscape.
“Events like this are exactly what Experience UK is all about — bringing together the people, ideas and organisations shaping the future of the experience economy," says Ian Clappison, CEO, Experience UK.
"The NEC’s transformation into the Nation’s Experience Capital represents an exciting evolution for the sector, and we’re delighted to give our members and industry colleagues the opportunity to hear directly from the teams behind it.
