Fulldome.pro, the projection dome expert, has announced the launch of its latest attraction, Balloon Simulator, designed to recreate the unforgettable sensation of a hot air balloon flight. With a vertically installed wrap-around projection dome screen and breathtaking 360-degree footage, audiences immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and sensations of an authentic balloon journey without their feet ever leaving the ground.

The company’s new Balloon Simulator is a flexible media-based attraction that can be used for a range of different purposes and can be custom-designed to fit any venue. Fulldome. pro’s negative pressure dome screen is integral to the immersive experience. The product can also be configured for automated operation, eliminating the need for staff

Visitors to Espace Ballon, a Swiss hot-air balloon museum, can now experience the Balloon Simulator for themselves.

Positive reception for Balloon Simulator at Espace Ballon

“The Balloon Simulator has garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback since opening to the public,” says Christophe Moinat, a designer and museographer in Switzerland. “The striking outer balloon cover leaves visitors in awe, with some marveling at how the immersive screen remains invisible. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Fulldome.pro team for your expert guidance throughout this venture.”

Fulldome.pro also recently developed the Super Ride Dome, a VR-like ride inside a 360-degree Super Reality Dome. This attraction delivers an immersive journey using motion seats synchronising seamlessly with wrap-around visuals.

The Super Ride Dome offers a media-based attraction with flexible content that can be easily changed to keep visitors returning for more. It has been designed for a wide range of attractions, including theme parks, FECs, visitor attractions, retail and real estate, and lifestyle destinations, and offers a high throughput. The attraction immerses visitors in the action with a VR-like experience that does not require goggles or headsets. High-quality projections and special effects heighten the storytelling.
