Immersive art collective Meow Wolf has appointed former Disney executive Rebecca Campbell to its board of directors.
Campbell boasts more than 25 years’ experience at the Walt Disney Company. Before retiring from the company in 2023, she held various leadership roles.
Chris Sobecki, chair of Meow Wolf’s board, said: “I am tremendously excited about Rebecca joining our board. She brings unparalleled expertise which will help guide Meow Wolf’s continued evolution.
“Her extensive background in international media and themed entertainment provides an extraordinary strategic advantage as we build Meow Wolf’s future on a global scale.”
Most recently, Campbell served as chairman of international content and operations at Disney. Prior to that, she was chairman of direct-to-consumer and international operations.
She has also worked as president of Disneyland Resort, and as president of the Walt Disney Company in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
“Meow Wolf is creating the future with immersive, unforgettable adventures. Art is the foundation, and community is paramount,” said Campbell.
“As a firm believer in the power of interactive experiences, I see tremendous potential in Meow Wolf’s unique approach to entertainment and am excited to join the board of directors.”
