Paris Museum Week will take place from 2 to 5 April. It is an initiative from Beaux Arts & Cie, the organiser of the professional museum and cultural venues fair (SITEM), in collaboration with CTA and Club Innovation Culture France (CLIC).

The week will gather over 5,000 professionals from monuments and museums in France and across the world. They will enjoy an inspiring programme which includes over 100 speakers, a trade show, symposia and conferences, tours, demonstrations, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Communicating the Arts Paris, the 28th edition of the CTA conference, will take place as part of Paris Museum Week. This event is taking place from 2 to 4 April on the theme “Impact and Responsibility in the Arts”, and will investigate the combined impact of social and sustainable activities in the arts sector.

Tickets for Communicating the Arts Paris are available to book online.

30 Under 30

A highlight of Paris Museum Week is the evening event on 3 April. This will feature the presentation of the “Musées (em)portables” award, the Start-Up Contest of SITEM, and the announcement of the young people who have been selected for CTA’s 30 Under 30 mentoring programme.

30 Under 30 launched in 2023 and was developed to help young leaders thrive in the cultural sector. Corinne Estrada, founder of CTA, spoke to blooloop about the initiative:

“Our new mentorship programme will cross nationalities, genders and sectors, so that’s very ambitious. We will have experts training young leaders about public speaking and leadership.  Mentors will introduce Mentees to their network because that’s the main challenge when you start your career. So, we are providing access, and we’re helping them with those first steps.  It’s all about professional development, and that’s our mission.

“We also feel that we have to learn from the younger generations. They will be part of the CTA programme and will make presentations. Crossing of knowledge between generations is a vital step.”

Communicating the Arts (CTA) recently announced the four prestigious venues which will host its conference in Paris; Cité de l’architecture et du Patrimoine, Carrousel du Louvre, Hangar Y and Centre Pompidou.
