Gateway’s Expertise Ensures Hoover Dam Contract Win for Denison Parking

News

Admission control and ticketing software provider, Gateway Ticketing Systems, has used its expertise to help Denison Parking win the bid to run parking operations and ticketing at the Hoover Dam for another five years.

The historic site generates over a million transactions a year through Gateway’s Galaxy® point of sale stations and eGalaxy Consumer Web Store.

Denison first won the contract in 2009, using Gateway Ticketing Systems’ flagship product suite, Galaxy®, for both parking and ticket sales. When the contract was due to be renewed, the two companies worked side by side to ensure a seamless presentation. Gateway assisted with both the contract presentation and RFP preparation.

Mark Pratt, CEO/President of Denison Parking, said, “The contract presentation went flawlessly. The Denison Parking and Gateway team locked themselves in their conference room days before to ensure perfection. During the presentation, the Gateway resource configured and executed the generation of all transactions called for in the demonstration checklist, then generated summary reports and answered all questions posed by the bid review committee.”

“We are thrilled that Galaxy® will continue to be in use by Denison Parking at the Hoover Dam for another five years, " commented Gateway Manager, Business Solutions, Mary Tannous. "Our customers’ successes are our successes and this is a perfect example of how collaboration proved to be a win for all involved – particularly the guests visiting this iconic location.”

Pratt added, “The presentation team was never stumped or stymied by any questions posed. It was a great presentation on their part and was certainly influential in Denison winning the contract.”
