News

Gateway Ticketing Systems has been chosen by one of the foremost aviation museums in the US as their new ticketing and access control provider.

The San Diego Air & Space Museum welcomes over 250, 000 visitors a year, all of whom will enjoy an enhanced visitor experience thanks to Gateway’s unified point of sale and admission control solution, Galaxy™.

Sandi Landicho, Chief Financial Officer at the San Diego Air & Space Museum, said they were “very excited to work with Gateway to improve our ticketing and group sales systems.” Landicho explained that Gateway’s long and positive customer relationships were key: “We thoroughly researched numerous ticketing solutions and … the positive feedback we received from Gateway customers definitely influenced our decision and made us confident in our choice to work with Gateway.”

Apart from front gate sales, the venue will also use Galaxy for order entry, retail point of sale, stored value, resource management and access control.

Senior Project Manager at Gateway, Jim McGregor, said they were looking forward to partnering with “the remarkable institution”: “I am particularly excited to see how the Museum’s core value of education will benefit from the implementation of Gateway’s unified point of sale solutions. The Museum will now be able to track and validate their significant number of school group bookings through a single system – improving their business processes and operations for an excellent guest experience."
