New concept art shared by Aldar Properties suggests Disneyland Abu Dhabi won’t be entirely indoors, with the resort potentially set to feature fireworks.
Owned by the Abu Dhabi government, Aldar is a real estate development, investment and management company responsible for developing Yas Island's public facilities.
It shared the concept art in an advert for its upcoming Yas Point residences, which are being built next to the new Disney resort.

First reported by Forbes, the concept art shows fireworks nearby, providing the first official indication that the destination will not be entirely indoors.
Although the Aldar advert does not confirm that the fireworks are part of the new Disney park, Forbes reports that none of the other theme parks on Yas Island currently offer fireworks displays.
Announced last May, Disneyland Abu Dhabi will be developed, built and operated by Miral, which already oversees three major parks on Yas Island.
Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld and Ferrari World are all indoor attractions due to Abu Dhabi's hot desert climate.

Last year, Miral's group CEO Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi said Disneyland Abu Dhabi "would never work" as an outdoor theme park.
"We know from our experience that an outdoor theme park would never work," he told the Middle East's local edition of Forbes.
Disneyland Abu Dhabi "will be a hybrid, it will be indoor and outdoor", Al Zaabi told Forbes Middle East.
"At this stage, it is too early to decide, but I reckon a good percentage of it will be indoor," he added.
Earlier this year, Disney confirmed its plans for a theme park in Abu Dhabi remain "unchanged" in a letter to shareholders released alongside its quarterly earnings.
