WhiteWater Donates AquaSpray Toys to Las Vegas Park Renovation Project

News

WhiteWater, a leading global designer and manufacturer of innovative waterpark products and attractions, has donated a selection of AquaSpray™ toys to a Las Vegas park renovation project.

The project is part of the Parks Build Community Programme run by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA). Each year, in whatever city the NRPA Annual Conference is held, the association identifies a deserving park in need of renovation. This year, it was the Joe Kneip Park of North Las Vegas.

Support is then sought from park equipment manufacturers such as WhiteWater and local community organisations. With their help, the NRPA performs a total makeover of the park for the benefit of local families.

"Joe Kneip Park is an important community space for the many nearby families who have few options to get outside, recreate and spend time with friends and neighbours. However, the park was in need of major renovation and restoration, " explains Jimmy O'Connor, Director of Conservation with NRPA.

WhiteWater was one of eleven sponsors who generously donated products and services to the 2015 Parks Build Community project. The newly renovated Joe Kneip Park was unveiled on the final day of the NRPA Conference. The local community joined park sponsors and industry colleagues on September 17th for the dedication.

"NRPA is thrilled to partner with WhiteWater to bring a brand new splash pad to Joe Kneip – a first for this park and a real gift to this community – as part of the 2015 NRPA Annual Conference, " added O’Connor.
