Disney's Hollywood Studios is introducing a new Olaf audio-animatronic figure as part of a new experience within The Magic of Disney Animation.

Debuting in late summer 2026 at Walt Disney World, Olaf Draws! is an animation class where guests can learn how to drawn one of nine Disney characters.

In a reimagined animator's studio with nods to Frozen, guests will take part in the experience at sleigh-themed tables or animator desk-style workstations.

Olaf actor Josh Gad, who has recorded original dialogue for the attraction, said: "I’m so thrilled that a whole new generation of kids can dream of becoming animators one day and can actually begin their journey right there on the studio lot."

Olaf will be joined by legendary Disney Animation artists via pre-recorded guidance for the class. They will take guests through the creative process, sharing tips and techniques.

Each class features a different character and artist, as follows:

  • Mickey Mouse, with Dan Abraham, director (Once Upon A Studio, Baymax!)
  • Minnie Mouse, with Hyun Min Lee, animator (Frozen 2, The Princess and the Frog)
  • Donald Duck, with Austin Traylor, animator (Once Upon A Studio, Moana 2)
  • Genie, with Eric Goldberg, animator (Aladdin, Hercules)
  • Moana, with Samantha Vilfort, story artist (Encanto, Zootopia 2)
  • Stitch, with Fawn Veerasunthorn, director and head of story (Wish, Raya and the Last Dragon)
  • Olaf, with Trent Correy, director (Once Upon A Studio, Frozen 3)
  • Ursula, with Michael Woodside, animator (Big Hero 6, Encanto)
  • Judy Hopps & Nick Wilde, with Byron Howard director, (Zootopia, Zootopia 2)

Olaf Draws! is just one experience within The Magic of Disney Animation, a new attraction housed in a building reminiscent of the Roy E. Disney Animation Building in Burbank, California, complete with Mickey's iconic sorcerer's hat.

Currently home to the Star Wars Launch Bay walkthrough attraction, the building is being transformed into a family-friendly space where guests can explore and draw.

Highlights in The Magic of Disney Animation include portraits coming to life before visitors' eyes, and a short film with a twist.

Beyond the walls of The Magic of Disney Animation, the surrounding courtyard is being reimagined to become The Walt Disney Studios, based on several Disney studio lot buildings in Burbank.

The studio grounds and courtyard area will also offer green spaces, F&B outlets, and the Drawn to Wonderland playground
