Hero Zone, creators of immersive VR experiences, has announced a new distribution agreement which will see its technology displayed at a major industry show in the Middle East.
A new partnership between the firm and Amusement Services International, LLC (ASI) will see Hero Zone bring its state-of-the-art VR technology to more locations across the MENA region.
“We are pleased to be teaming up with ASI to help us expand Hero Zone’s penetration across MENA,” says Hero Zone CEO Sebastian Malavasi.
“We are looking forward to working with ASI so that more patrons in the Middle East will have the opportunity to experience Hero Zone’s exciting, truly social VR games together in real life and in the virtual Hero Zone Arena.”
Flexible gaming options
Hero Zone Arena is a turnkey solution that is ideal for FECs, arcades, and other businesses searching for a practical, all-inclusive VR solution that includes the Hero Zone launcher and award-winning games library.
Hero Zone Arena features a free 6-month software licence that grants access to the company’s expanding library of VR games. Beyond the initial term, Hero Zone offers operator-friendly licencing options including per-play, per-month, and one-time annual programmes.
Following the unveiling of Hero Zone Arena at IAAPA Expo 2022, Hero Zone’s partnership with ASI has developed throughout multiple events for the amusement industry and will continue with its location-based VR being unveiled by ASI on the show floor of next month’s Dubai Entertainment Amusement & Leisure Expo (DEAL).
Following this, the Hero Zone Arena will be set up at Dubai Mall, which is home to more than 100 million visitors annually and is known as one of the most frequented retail and lifestyle destinations in the world.
Delivering immersive experiences
Rosanne Fernandes, Amusement Services International LLC’s Amusement Division general manager adds: “ASI has always been ahead of the curve in the MENA amusement and leisure industry, and our partnership with Hero Zone marks our commitment to bringing socially engaging VR entertainment in the middle eastern region.
“So many of our partners and clients across the MENA region will love the incredibly immersive, fun experiences that Hero Zone Arena delivers.”
Hero Zone, which has more than 180 sites globally, is already present in the Middle East, with two locations in Kuwait run by the family entertainment centre brand Future Kids. Hero Zone also has other MENA sites, including Saudi Arabia and Oman, which are software-only.
Hero Zone Arena will be on display at the ASI Pavillion at DEAL 2023 from 14-16 March.
