A unique mixed reality experience will be brought to the UK capital

Valo Motion, a pioneer in combining interactive technology with physical activities, will welcome attendees at a major trade show next month to try its ValoArena experience.

Designed for indoor spaces including activity parks, Valo Motion’s freeform game involves no wearables, allowing players to enjoy maximum social interaction without restrictions during gameplay. During the official live launch of the unit next month, IAAPA Expo Europe will mark the first time that industry members will have the opportunity to try ValoArena out for themselves.

Hi-Fly Trampoline Park installed a ValoArena unit this summer, with the aim of keeping the park’s format up-to-date and relevant for the changing tastes of its audience.

The venue’s CEO, Lasse Buschmann says: “We always observe what is happening on the market, and we got ValoArena because it helps us to stay relevant and modern. Today’s kids play a lot on cell phones and screens, and at Hi-Fly, movement is important to us.

“ValoArena is great because it combines movement with kids’ love of digital entertainment. It is also a social activity, which makes it really fun for friends and families to do together. ValoArena adds value to our park and ticket prices because it is easy to access, it has no wearables, and it saves staffing costs.”

Interactive fun for groups

ValoArena was also installed at SuperPark Vantaa in February, with customer service & park manager Mika Jimenez commenting on its success: “ValoArena is the easiest attraction. We do not need to do anything to it for it to work. It has been a big hit.”

Valo Motion reports that the ValoArena has proven to be reliable for heavy daily use at its initial venues. The unit can accommodate up to six players at a time, leading to shorter queueing times at busy sites as well as creating more opportunities for interactive and social gaming experiences.

Dr Raine Kajastila, CEO of Valo Motion says: “ValoArena was designed for up to six people to have active fun together, and we wanted to learn together with owners of premier installations how ValoArena will be received by players. We have received highly positive feedback and several locations had over 4,000 players per week.

“Park owners tell us that the ValoArena units are in heavy use and enjoyed by the players. I am glad that ValoArena is turning out to be as popular as our previous products ValoClimb and ValoJump which total over 46 million active and fun games over the past six years.”

Valo Motion will be at IAAPA Expo Europe booth #3005, taking place at ExCel London from 13-15 September 2022.
