ProIO, a company that provides consulting and programming solutions for technical entertainment systems, has announced strategic partnerships with its long-time collaborators, Practical Imagination and SHIKI, marking an expanded range of services.
As a technical consulting firm focused on designing and implementing audio, video, lighting, and show control systems, ProIO is leading this collaboration to enhance its capacity to provide comprehensive, end-to-end solutions.
The three organisations are collectively introducing the Placemaking Alliance.
2025 has been a year of notable growth for Proio. Since its rebranding in January, the company has shifted toward a more holistic, big-picture approach to projects. The Orlando-based team has extensive experience with high-profile clients like Universal and MGM, with installations worldwide.
Trusted partners
ProIO's expertise enables it to support each phase of a project’s lifecycle.
It starts with creative ideation, transforming ideas into practical strategies, and extends through greenfield execution, from design to handover.
ProIO stays engaged with clients long after project completion, focusing on long-term sustainability and incorporating emerging technologies to enhance the lifecycle and return on investment of every installation.
Collaborating with trusted partners enhances these skills and guarantees that ProIO can fulfil its promises.

SHIKI specialises in project and construction management, capital decision-making, project controls, commercial management, secondment, and coordinating technical systems integrators (audio, video, lighting, and control).
With a composed and organised approach, combined with extensive regional expertise in Asia and the United States, SHIKI aligns global standards with local execution to guarantee projects are completed precisely as planned, from concept to commissioning.
Combined skills and insight
Brice Helman, CEO of ProIO, says:
“The real strength behind our projects comes from the partnerships we’ve built with other exceptional companies. Each alliance member brings unique expertise, and together we’re able to deliver comprehensive, start-to-finish solutions for our clients.
"The alliance is what allows us to scale naturally. We know that one of the biggest concerns clients have when working with smaller firms is the limitation of resources.
"Our alliance changes that dynamic. It’s not about outsourcing to strategic partners – it’s about combining the skills and insight of true subject matter experts on a shared playing field.
"At the core of what we do is placemaking – and that’s something SHIKI, Practical Imagination, and ProIO strive to bring to life every day.”
The teams from ProIO and Practical Imagination will be at IAAPA Expo 2025 in Orlando. Attendees can get in touch by email to schedule a meeting.
