Six Flags Great Adventure has unveiled the new Shoreline Pier at The Boardwalk area, inspired by New Jersey's iconic oceanside amusement piers.
The new area is opening in late spring 2026 and will introduce five attractions, four of which are new to the Six Flags park.
It is part of the park's broader growth strategy, which includes a major new roller coaster set to open in 2027, replacing the legendary Kingda Ka.
"Shoreline Pier celebrates everything people love about New Jersey’s legendary boardwalks – the motion, the magic, the tastes, the thrills and the timeless sense of adventure,” said Michael Fehnel, park manager of Six Flags Great Adventure.
"This new area blends the alluring vibe of shore towns with classic midway fun, creating a destination that feels both nostalgic and brand new."
Shoreline Pier at The Boardwalk
Designed to capture the spirit of a summer night down the Jersey Shore, Shoreline Pier includes five attractions, as follows:
Barrels O' Fun is a spinning family coaster, while Flying Scooters is a classic ride with guests in control of their own movements.
Wave Swinger is a seaside swing ride, while Hypno Twister and Super Roundup are spinning rides.
As for retail and F&B, Shoreline Pier will offer boardwalk-inspired bites such as Jersey diner-style 'disco fries', classic corn dogs, and 'Gabagool on-a-stick' – capicola dipped in corn batter and finished with a hot honey drizzle.

Sweet snacks will include Jersey-inspired funnel cake sundae creations, including 'Holey Cannoli'.
Merchandise will include pier-inspired products and coastal keepsakes, while entertainment experiences at Shoreline Pier will include stilt walkers, live musicians and roaming acts.
In the evenings, Shoreline Pier will transform into a new limited-time nighttime experience called Boardwalk Nights.
Six Flags Great Adventure reopens to the public on 28 March.
