7thSense tops two categories at Made in the South East Awards 2017

Leading technology company, 7thSense Design has been honoured with two separate awards at the 2017 Made in the South East Awards.

The company was presented with both the ‘Export Award’ and ‘Digital Engineering Technology Award’ at the event held last week.

The annual Made in the South East Awards were established to recognise and reward the best manufacturing companies based in the South East of the UK. Now in their fifth year, they honour those that have demonstrated success in innovation, product development and growth in either domestic or overseas markets.

“The competition this year was especially tough, there’s so many ambitious organisations and a great deal of innovation in the region,” observed Matt Barton, Managing Director of 7thSense, who accepted the award on behalf of the company. “We are so honoured to have been recognised with both awards. This was yet another occasion where we can be proud of our incredible team.”

The Made in the South East Awards comprise eight categories and attract nominations from manufacturers of all sizes from across the region. Entries are judged by a panel of experts.

7thSense praised for innovation, growth and technology development

7thSense was commended for its scale of export, market growth rates and highly innovative product range, as well as its approach to technology development.

As regional winners, the company will now stand as finalists in the 2018 Made in the UK Awards, in the Export and Digital Engineering and Technology categories. The finals will be held in Liverpool on 20th June next year.

Established in 2004, 7thSense specialises in advanced Media Serving for a wide range of markets including Themed Entertainment, 3D Theatres, Visitor Attractions, Planetariums, Digital Signage and Live Events.

With offices in Sussex, England, and Michigan, USA, the company has sold thousands of products worldwide and has recently opened a third office in Orlando, Florida, to support its growing customer base in the area.
