M 4K15 RGB and M 4K+15 RGB are the latest additions to the award-winning M 4K RGB Series

Christie, the global visual and audio technology company, has announced the release of two new RGB pure laser projectors: the M 4K15 RGB and the M 4K+15 RGB. These new products join the reliable and award-winning M 4K RGB Series and can deliver 15,750 lumens. Theme park attractions, projection mapping spectacles, staging and live events, and other high-demand applications are all catered for by the projectors’ design.

“Our original M Series projectors, first introduced in 2007, were our most successful line of Pro AV projectors with over 16,000 units sold,” says Joel St-Denis, director of product management, Christie. “Our new models continue the tradition of innovation which has made the M Series so popular, combining ruggedness, reliability, and brightness into a compact chassis.”

Vibrant visuals with easy installation and operation

With this latest addition to the M 4K RGB Series, the firm has made installation and operation easier than ever, as the projectors can deliver full brightness at 120V or 220V with omnidirectional rigging capabilities and TruLife+ electronics. This gets rid of the annoyance and cost of removable options cards. They are also the lightest 3DLP projectors in their class, weighing in at 83.8 lbs (38.1 kg).

For extra cost savings, the new projectors are compatible with previous M, J, and Crimson Series lenses and M Series rigging frames.

Thanks to the RGB pure laser illumination, the projectors generate vibrant, bright, and true-to-life visuals that approach 98% of the Rec.2020 colour gamut. The guest focus will remain on the screen rather than audiences being distracted by the tech, as the projects operate at a quiet 43 dBA to ensure that the focus remains on the screen.

The M 4K15 RGB offers a 2700:1 contrast ratio and 4K UHD (3840×2160) resolution, while the M 4K+15 RGB offers a contrast ratio of 2200:1 and 4K UHD+(3840×2400) resolution. For applications that call for higher frame rates, there is the option of Mirage and Mirage Pro upgrades that will deliver 4K at 120 Hz and HD resolution up to 480 Hz.

The M 4K15 RGB and M 4K+15 RGB are available for order now.

Last month, Christie announced that its Inspire Series 1DLP laser projectors have been chosen by a number of visitor attractions in China’s Guangdong province. Over 80 of its projectors, including the DWU760-iS, DWU860-iS, and DWU960-iS models, have been installed in Jiangmen City’s China Qiaodu Museum of Overseas Chinese and Jiangmen Local Chronicles Hall, as well as Guangzhou’s Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Talent Hub.
