Over the course of his career, he has built a huge amount of knowledge when it comes to the psychology of guest engagement and will continue to put this to use in his new venture, telling memorable new stories in LBE venues,
The COO of CONDUCTR, Van der Steen, moves from his previous role of development director for Holovis, where he worked on R&D and the implementation of emerging technologies in the attractions world. In addition to this, he has also previously held a position within IBM’s Consultancy division, delivering AI-driven applications and large-scale software integrations across multiple geographies and business areas.
The pair have experience in collaborating with some of the world’s leading attractions, brands and IPs.
A new chapter
“The launch of CONDUCTR marks a new chapter in experience creation and development,” says Cliff. “Interactivity is no longer a genre of ride; it is a design philosophy. New and emerging platforms are paving the way for a new wave of interactive and immersive experiences that will deliver heightened emotional reactions between guests and IPs.
“CONDUCTR is the perfect vehicle to harness and pioneer these discoveries. As global technological innovation ramps up, we are innovating ground-breaking ways to create personal and emotional connections to levels never before thought possible.
“We are the ultimate collaboration partner and can integrate into well-established pipelines with both master planners and production teams.”
The new company will be based in Manchester, UK.
