CONDUCTR opens Orlando design & production studio

Firm’s US studio is close to Universal Orlando Resort and spans 6,000 square feet

CONDUCTR (CDTR), the UK-based innovation studio, has announced the official launch of its US Design and Production Studio in Orlando, Florida, and Incorporated as a fully operating US entity.

This accompanies the firm’s continued operational diversification and extension of its vertical markets, with more than 20 major projects due to go live in the US this year.

Rapid global growth

The 6,000 square foot property is strategically positioned ten minutes from Universal Orlando Resort, on the I4 near the Mall of Millenia. A sizable R&D area is at the centre of the studio, along with meeting, office, and events spaces for the expanding US team.

CONDUCTR’s Game Volt product division will use the studio for the production and distribution of its games, including Supercharged Shuffle, The ARENA, and its expanding range of competitive socialising products. Additional games will be released later this year.

Peter Cliff, CEO and co-founder of CONDUCTR, says: “With seismic investment currently being made in the expansion of major theme parks and more cruise ships being built than ever before, the Orlando Design and Production Studio will become a primary destination for our clients working at the cutting edge to come on the journey with us as we pioneer world first experiences using immersive technologies, evolving methods of content creation, AI and advanced forms of tracking.

“We are proud to have transformed the guest experiences and wider themed entertainment landscape, working alongside early adopter clients to evolve interactivity from a genre of experience to an inherent design philosophy.”

Jos van der Steen, COO and co-founder of CONDUCTR, adds: “In just two years, we have gone from a startup business to a truly global organisation with a dedicated team of over 50 employees delivering industry first innovations that have taken the themed entertainment, cruise, restaurant and hospitality industries by storm. We’re looking forward to continuing this success with our clients in the US and beyond.”

CONDUCTR creates one-of-a-kind experiences and products by combining immersive story-driven design with cutting-edge technologies and future trends. The company leverages technology to enhance and expand the visitor experience, resulting in memorable shared moments that connect audiences.

Recently, CONDUCTR announced the launch of The Arena, a next-generation competitive socialising experience from its product division Game Volt.
